2 Cut out your templates in either your card or plastic, IF USING AN OLD CHRISTMAS CARD GLITTERY OR EMBOSSED CARDS WORK WELL. If you are using plastic you will need to CUT OUT THE SHAPES  paint with acrylic and leave to dry for twenty four hours. METHOD

  •  3-sided tube- gently fold in half and make two small cuts ½ and 2/3 from the top.

  • Remake the three-sided tube and score the folds

  • Undo the paperclips and make some feet at each end.

  • Flatten your tube again and push your a/b/c tabs into the cuts and Sellotape down

  • Next put your legs/feet at right angles and Sellotape down firmly

  • Turn the right way up and reconstruct your three sided tube again.

  • Use Sellotape to make sure the tube holds in three

  • Manoeuvre your head, wings and tail to make a nice bug

  • Using a small coin make two circles for bug eyes. Decorate with sticky things and attach to the head.

  • Lastly if you have some fine wire, make some holes with a needle and thread through some fine wire to make antennae.
